Do you use growing lights ?

Well, not as a baseline. We use the sun. But, if winter hits bad, and we get a few days with no sun, we might run our super led lights for a bit to boost things up.

What is Aeroponics ?

Aeroponics is the update NASA has made to the well known hydroponic philosophy that took the roots out of the water while targeting them with auto timed micro spraying with the used nutrient solution. This system is the most efficient resource wise, and sustainability wise. Biggest, quickest and constant yields.

What is the best anti-cancer microgreen ?

Thee #! anti cancer microgreen as per today is the Broccol,i with its well known Sulforaphane. Its anti cancer properties are undeniable by the mainstream medical community for years, now take the micro version that holds up to 40x the mature versions properties, nutrition wise, now you got yourself some medicine.

What is the average shelf life of these products.

Well, it varies, from Fresh plants that are still growing, meaning no "good by date", to harvested, that last a minimum of 10 days and an average of 15.-21. If we learn how to maintain the micros in refrigeration, we can get to 30 days and more from our experience.

What are the common ways people use microgreens ?

Many use them in salads, to spice things up with a crunch. Some do sandwiches, some cook with the herb ones, basil and watercress, some eat them fresh as is from the box as a snack (alive). Some prefer to grind or juice them for capsules and frozen juices/smoothies. We make pestos from microgreens, imagine the kick youll get from one of those. Microgreens are magical, fit anywhere and are so simple to use, just get your box and sprinkle some on top of your salad, sandwich, lasagne, hummus, the options are just endless.

Why this weird name, microgreens, arent they sprouts ?

No, there is a big difference between sprouts and microgreens nutrition wise and visibly as well, microgreens are green, fresh, vs. sprouts which are not exposed to the sun/lights, meaning they did not photosynthesize, which makes them yelowish, less inviting, and most of the time, less nutritious than their microgreen version. Its all about the timing here.

What varieties do you grow ?

Here are some of the species we specialize in : - Sunflowers. - Radish, Rambo Radish. - Mustard. - Kale. - Barley. - Wheatgrass. - Broccoli. - Watercress. - Alfalfa. - Arugula. - Shisu. - Peas. and many more. Let us know if you have specific needs, we supply chefs with rare species as well.

Do you use plastics in your end products ?

No. We have removed 100% of the plastic use in our end products, the boxes we use are PLA, the future of packaging, 100% Biodegradable, 100% Compostable. Breaks down with 0 byproducts. Links to certificates and government regulations approval linked in the site at our sustainability section, feel free to browse it.

Do you feed your plants anything other than filtered water ?

Well, the technical answer here is no. But, we grow outdoors in an open hydroponic NFT style, while exercising mega vertical engineering and utilizing gravity to our benefit, after pumps (which will soon become 100% solar powered) pumped the filtered water upwards, when the siphon gets into action and starts the ebb & flow triggered event, the water will pass through all the shelves and pumps, picking up plant matter and such on its way down, some of it will break into the water and into the system, creating a naturally occuring feeding sub system. So no, but yes, they do get fed food. Bare in mind, that super young plants, e.g. microgreens, (5-14 days grow cycle), do not require feeding, as they are super close to the seed, which supplies all the plants needs for this super young early phase.

Is your farming veganic ? Are you using animal products in any way ?

Our farming is 100% VEGANIC, we are vegans, and will not use any animal products in any of our systems in any way shape or form. Until the last cage.
